Amir Ghaznavi, MD is dual board-certified plastic and reconstructive surgeon at Cleveland Clinic Florida in Weston, where he performs complex reconstructive and oncologic surgeries. Dr. Ghaznavi has special expertise in microsurgical breast reconstruction that uses women’s natural body tissue to build new breasts after a mastectomy.
As part of natural tissue (or autologous) breast reconstruction, Dr. Ghaznavi gives women the potential of restoring sensation with Resensation®. The breast neurotization technique makes it possible to reconnect the nerves in the newly restored breast, potentially helping women both look and feel more like themselves again after breast cancer treatment.
