Gabriel Kind, MD
Gabriel M. Kind, MD, is a board-certified plastic surgeon in San Francisco, California, with special expertise in microsurgical breast reconstruction, which uses a woman’s natural tissue to construct new breasts after a mastectomy. Dr. Kind has long been a pioneer in breast reconstruction and was among the first surgeons to perform DIEP flap surgery on the West Coast.
At Kind Chang Plastic Surgery, he is now offering patients another major innovation in the field of breast reconstruction: ReSensation℠. Using the neurotization technique, Dr. Kind can potentially repair the nerves cut during a mastectomy, providing women the possibility of renewed sensation to their reconstructed breasts.
This advanced technique shows the promise of revolutionizing free flap reconstruction and aims to become the standard of care.
