Matthew Chetta, MD, FACS
Dr. Matthew D. Chetta is a board certified plastic surgeon who specializes in aesthetic and reconstructive breast surgery. He is also the Primary Investigator in a study evaluating the long-term effects of breast neurotization at his institution with his work being presented at prominent local/regional, national, and international research meetings.
Dr. Chetta offers Resensation® to women who undergo autologous (free flap) breast reconstruction using their own natural tissue. Resensation® is a novel surgical technique utilizing a nerve allograft (donated nerve) offering the potential for a better return of sensation in the reconstructed breasts and an overall better, more natural experience in breast reconstruction.
