Marco Ellis, MD, FACS

As a board-certified plastic surgeon, Dr. Marco Ellis specializes in cosmetic and reconstructive surgery of the face and body. Dr. Ellis practices all aspects of plastic surgery but has expertise in reconstructive surgery of the face and breast. His unique training, experience and knowledge in both facial and breast reconstructive surgery allow him to offer innovative and state-of-the-art reconstructive options to his patients. Dr. Ellis offers women facing breast cancer and mastectomy the latest techniques in breast reconstruction including the Resensation® surgical technique.

Dr. Ellis uses Resensation to reconnect the nerves in the breast during autologous, or free flap, breast reconstruction. The technique utilizes allograft (donated) nerve tissue that supports nerve growth over time, giving women the possibility of a gradual return of sensation to the newly restored breast.
