Dr. Nicholas Clavin is a double board-certified plastic and general surgeon who performs complex reconstruction surgery for breast cancer patients in Charlotte, North Carolina. Affiliated with CMC Cosmetic and Plastic Surgery, Dr. Clavin is a highly skilled surgeon offering the most advanced techniques in reconstructive surgery today. A native of New York, Dr. Clavin earned his medical degree from Upstate Medical University in Syracuse and completed his general surgery residency at New York Presbyterian Hospital. He continued his education with a plastic and reconstructive surgery residency at University of California, Los Angeles. Dr. Clavin has authored many peer-reviewed articles and book chapters, and he’s presented his research in microsurgical reconstruction at regional, national and international conferences.
